The tethered chargers we install are all type 2 chargers, the majority of vehicles use this type of charger. Untethered chargers can charge type 1 & type 2 dependant on the type of tether your vehicle needs.

There are 2 other types of charger CCS or CHAdeMO? Unless you drive an American Car, a Nissan/Mitsubishi PHEV or Electric Vehicle that pre-dates 2019  you probably won't need one of these types

In short No, most homes only have enough power for one 7kW charger, if you have 2 chargers the charging capability will be split between the 2 chargers, giving around 3.5kW each
