This will depend on your circumstances, to be eligible for the WCS grant (workplace charging scheme) the property where the charger is to be installed needs to be a registered business address, (this includes residential address). You can find out if you are eligible for the grant using the below link. Once you have your code get in contact with us at maurice@mmcelectrical.co.uk and we can get you booked in for an EV charger installation using the grant, which will give you up to £350 off the cost of a charger.

The tethered chargers we install are all type 2 chargers, the majority of vehicles use this type of charger. Untethered chargers can charge type 1 & type 2 dependant on the type of tether your vehicle needs.
There are 2 other types of charger CCS or CHAdeMO? Unless you drive an American Car, a Nissan/Mitsubishi PHEV or Electric Vehicle that pre-dates 2019 you probably won't need one of these types

In short yes, but most homes only have enough power for one 7kW charger, if you have 2 chargers the charging capability will be split between the 2 chargers, giving around 3.5kW each, which will in turn slow down the charge for both cars. It would be best to alternate the cars on a single charger than to charge 2 at the same time.
